Anne Lang has accrued more than three decades as a professional all-around journalist. Since 1998, she has primarily worked as a contract reporter for People magazine (published weekly by Time Inc.) — contributing to hundreds of articles in an expansive range that includes numerous cover stories, human interest, celebrities, politics, investigative, arts, crime, entertainment, medicine, disasters, education, family and business.


Lang has worked extensively throughout the U.S. in both solo and team reporting/writing situations, often under extremely tight deadlines and filing from the road. Several of Lang’s exclusive national-print features in People have been picked up and aired on television shows such as The Oprah Winfrey Show, Today, Good Morning America, CBS Evening News, Dateline NBC, Inside Edition and Hard Copy.


Lang's expertise also encompasses travel writing, profiles, editorials and a broad span of equine sports coverage, with published articles (including several national award-winners) from 1982 to the present — plus numerous years of experience as a trade-journal editor, newspaper reporter and radio copywriter. Lang also has conducted research, interviews and reporting for books produced by two notable publishing houses. She is currently based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
